Varanasi, also Benares,or Kashi, is a city on the banks of the Ganges in Uttar Pradesh.
It is the holiest of the seven sacred cities in Hinduism.
Varanasi is a melting pot where both death and life come together. It is one of the oldest (and fascinating) cities in the world.
