This Muslim community is a cattle herding group and the Jat women are skilled embroiders and are recognized by their oversized nose rings. The Jat - one of the hidden tribes in Gujarat was very hard to get access to, but thanks to my wonderful fixer I was able to spent a few hours with a family. And no it was not easy to photograph as normally I would prefer to stay much longer but unfortunately that was not allowed. I'm just very pleased I've seen these beautiful people and these are one of my ' special' memories and images. ©Ingetje Tadros
